Watch for Olive Tree Pictures at the Thin Line Film Festival coming early next year, February 10-20, 2014, in Denton, Texas.
During July, Olive Tree Pictures will be preparing for the festival by filming a short documentary for Serve Denton, a nonprofit group that helps “nonprofits fulfill their mission and advance the common good of Denton County. We believe co-location and collaboration among nonprofits can better meet the needs of our communities in a big way,” according to the website www.servedenton.org.
Much like Olive Tree Pictures, Serve Denton is an organization dedicated to assisting those who need help, especially the displaced and homeless, in Denton County.
“The public is always welcome to watch us shoot any time they see our cameras in the area,” said Pat Denson, president of Olive Tree. “The more people know about us, the more they will want to get involved in serving their community. This particular piece on Serve Denton is designed to spread the word about what is being done by great organizations and people throughout Texas.”
