An innocent man is about to be put to death in Texas by a Governor who 20 years before prosecuted the case as a young lawyer bent on political success. Decisions were made and evidence was suppressed to help run the case through at a breakneck speed. Questions have lingered by the press and by the sister of the murdered victim, who claims she saw a completely different man running from the scene of the crime. The Governor’s chief of staff has been loyal in his help to finish the job until too many doubts force him to find the hidden evidence and confront the man he works for. A decision of convenience and political favor or facing the truth and political suicide is all that is left. What will become of the convenient man?
